<description>This has been helpful, I have a 13 yr old step son, who&#039;s dad has allowed 24/7 internet access via a psp3. We have had major arguments about it, I am not comfortable with it, but the best I have been able to control is pulling the modem jack out @ night. His mother has also weighed in on the decision, commenting that now he has been restricted with facebook, what is he doing to occupy himself. I have been branded overprotective &amp; even insulted by my other step children, its so hard when your battling alone to try your best to protect those who your responsible for..... :(</description>

<description>what is this website all about anyway? besides &quot;dangers of the internet&quot; what does this teach you and how does it affect you and the ones you love
-----------------------------
Rena,

The short answer: this website is a resource for parents who need help protecting their children/teens from Internet dangers such as Internet pornography, cyber bullying, predators, sexting, identity theft, drugs, and more. I try to convince them that the dangers are real and then equip them with the tools needed to protect their kids.
